What is a Virtual Assistant?

This is such a common question and quite frankly, we can be almost anything you would like us to be. By that I mean if it can be done without face to face contact with you and or your client, Virtual Assistants can do it! We are self-employed contractors whose goal is to lighten your load.

Why should I hire a VA over in house staff?

When you hire a full or part-time employee, your incur the high cost of recruitment, training, employee taxes, benefits, the cost of equipment for that employee. In addition, if they have a set schedule of hours, sometimes you are paying them when there is no work for them to do. As a VA, those costs are part of our overhead, not yours. Plus, you only pay us for the time we actually work!

How do I get my work to you?

This is really your choice, however, we primarily use DropBox and Google Docs. Should you choose to send something hard copy or need us to mail items out, as an example, you certainly can mail the items to us.

How can I communicate with you?

I am open to whatever form of communication you would like to use. Often our clients prefer to email, however, we can speak on the phone, have video conferences in Zoom, use an instant messaging program or any other way you would be comfortable.

How do you handle your billing?

We bill monthly, on or about the first of the month. An invoice will be created with the hours worked and forwarded to you for payment. The invoice can be broken down as necessary for your bookkeeping. Payment is preferred through PayPal as it is convenient, secure and payments are traceable. You do not have to have a PayPal account, just a credit or debit card, in order to pay an invoice. The process is a very simple one.
